Biography
Samir Ghising aka “VTEN” is known as the Rap sensational superstar of Nepali Hip-hop. VTEN is a young Nepali rapper and songwriter, he started his career with the song Churot which gave him a big name in Nep-hop industry. His hometown is in Rautahat and nickname is Lopsanag Ghising. He is the only son of Mr. Kapil Babu Lama and Mrs. Hema Lama he has two sisters (Selin and Simron). He was born and raised in Rajbiraj, Birgunj Nepal. He established himself well in Kathmandu with his exceptional skills in making Thangka before he was known as the Rapper of Nepali Hip Hop. VTEN name was given by his best friend Sujan.
VTEN was interested in rap since his childhood, he used to rap as a hobby the first rap he listened was of Eminem rap in the song of Akon named smack that. After listening to this song he became more interested in rap. His first song was live in Girish Vlog. Girish is also one of the most popular rappers in Nep-hop industry. His first song “churot” got viral he is an overnight superstar. Churot was also uploaded in Girish Vlog. Then he released his own songs like manchhe khatam, Katha, etc which is enough to touch the heart of every Nepalese youngster. His first debut album is Mistake.
Currently, his main occupation or we can say his main profession is rap and songwriting as in the genre of hip-hop and rap. Even though Samir Ghising is young he has established himself as the rising star in the field of the Nep-hop industry.
